Su Casa is powered by a team of Latino leaders, interpreters, community health workers, family support specialists, and advocates who understand the lived experiences of the families we serve. Our team brings cultural knowledge, professional experience, and deep commitment to helping Latino families feel supported, understood, and connected to opportunity.

Ashley Caceres

Executive Director

Ashley Caceres is a first-generation Latina, proudly raised in an immigrant household with roots in Mexico and El Salvador. She has served as Executive Director of Su Casa Indiana since 2023, after nearly five years as a Health Coverage Navigator, where she helped secure almost 900 approved Medicaid applications for Latino youth and adults. Ashley continues to advocate for Latino safety, health equity, and inclusive systems through her leadership at Su Casa.

Arleth “Addy” Franco

Family Support Specialist / Medical Interpreter / Community Health Worker

Arleth Franco, better known as Addy, has worked with Su Casa Indiana since 2021. She serves as a Family Support Specialist, Medical Interpreter, and Community Health Worker, bringing lived experience and a deep understanding of the needs of Hispanic families in the community. Addy is passionate about helping families find local and state resources so they can grow mentally, physically, and financially.

Angelite Narvaez

Court Interpreter

Angelite Narvaez is Su Casa’s Court Interpreter. She joined Su Casa during the development of a partnership with NAACP and the TIME Program to support local Latino business owners with resources for their personal and business needs. Previously, she worked as a legal interpreter for a local attorney. Angelite is a first-generation American with Dominican roots and is also a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach serving many Latino clients.

Karla Solis

Small Business Support Specialist

Karla Solis is Su Casa’s Small Business Support Specialist. She joined Su Casa in 2023 as a Family Support Specialist and later transitioned into her current role, helping Hispanic entrepreneurs and small business owners access resources to grow. Originally from Mexico, Karla brings experience in marketing, franchise coordination, and entrepreneurship, along with a bachelor’s degree in Business with a minor in Informatics.

Magda Gamez

Family/ Education/ Translation Specialist

Magda Gamez has served Su Casa Indiana for over fifteen years as a Family Affairs, Education, and Translation Specialist. Originally from San Luis Potosí, Mexico, she brings extensive experience in translation, interpretation, education, and community engagement. Her work with BCSC, TuFuturo Latino, and Su Casa has helped bridge communication gaps, support Latino students, and strengthen educational success for families.

Mayita

Community Health Worker / Vecinas de Enlace Coordinator / Doula

Mayita joined Su Casa to continue the work of Vecinas de Enlace and collaborate with Columbus Regional Health as a Community Health Worker. Originally from Colombia, she has worked with several organizations supporting the Hispanic community in Columbus. Mayita is especially passionate about maternal health and is a certified doula, lactation counselor, and medical interpreter.

Nadia Herrera Luna

Community Health Worker - Seymour

Nadia Herrera Luna joined Su Casa Indiana in 2021 as a Family Support Specialist in Seymour. In 2022, she became certified as a Youth Mental Health First Aid instructor, which strengthened her ability to serve parents, youth workers, and young people in the Hispanic community. In 2023, she transitioned to Su Casa’s Seymour office as a Community Health Worker and Vecinas de Seymour Coordinator.

Patricia Sanchez Sandoval

Family Support Specialist / Bookkeeper

Patricia Sanchez Sandoval is the Family Support Specialist at Su Casa Columbus. Originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, she is passionate about helping and understanding the needs of the local Hispanic community. With a background in accounting, volunteer work, family engagement, and early childhood support, Patricia brings warmth, experience, and dedication to her work with families in Columbus.

Brandon Santillan-Fuentes

Family Support Specialist

Brandon Santillan-Fuentes is Su Casa’s Family Support Specialist. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, he moved to Indiana to pursue new opportunities. Proud of his Salvadoran roots, Brandon is passionate about helping people, connecting families with resources, and supporting youth through his local church. He enjoys music, video editing, DJing, and building meaningful relationships in the community.

Monica María Gonzalez Argueta

Community Health Worker / Vecinas de Seymour Coordinator

Monica María Gonzalez Argueta is Su Casa’s Community Health Worker. Originally from Guatemala, she brings nearly 30 years of experience in education and a deep passion for serving the community. Before joining the staff in 2024, Monica volunteered as a Spanish teacher with Vecinas de Seymour. She enjoys music, dancing, traveling, crafts, and spending time with her family.

Angie Aguilar

Family Support Specialist - Shelbyville

Angie Aguilar Aguilar serves as a Family Support Specialist at Su Casa Shelbyville. Born in Columbus, Indiana, she spent her early childhood in Mexico before returning to Columbus to continue her education. Having personally experienced the support and resources Su Casa provided to her family, Angie is passionate about giving back to the community that helped shape her journey.

Kathy Sanchez

Youth Engagement Coordinator

Katherine Sanchez is Su Casa's Youth Programs Coordinator, originally from Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico. For two years, she has led youth programs including BIENVENIDOS and M.E.T.A.S. (Making Education Around Summertime). As an immigrant herself, she understands how difficult it can be to find the help families need — a passion that drives her work supporting Latino youth. Katherine is excited to be part of the team and help strengthen the community.

Megan Shaff

Director of Title Services — BCSC

Megan Shaff brings over two decades of educational leadership and community advocacy to her role as Chairperson of the Su Casa Board. Professionally serving as the Director of Title Services for Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC), Megan oversees crucial district programs, federal grants, and Multilingual Learner (ML) initiatives. Her deep alignment with Su Casa's mission stems from years of firsthand experience advocating for Latino students navigating post-secondary education and career pathways. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Valparaiso University and a Master of Educational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Angelina Rodriguez

Director of ReCon Strategy — Cummins Inc.

Angelina Rodriguez is the Strategy Director for Cummins’ remanufacturing business. With a career spanning more than two decades at Cummins—including key leadership roles across Supply Chain, Quality, Sourcing, and Aftermarket—she has built a strong track record of operational excellence and strategic impact. Angelina is deeply committed to community service and education, serving on the boards of Su Casa Indiana and Community Education Coalition. Angelina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, a diploma in Statistics, and a Master’s in Administration with a concentration in Finance from ITESM in Mexico.

Yodir Anahuati Cacho

Treasury Technology & NA Operations Manager — Cummins Inc.

Yodir Anahuati Cacho serves as Treasury Technology & North America Operations Manager at Cummins Inc., contributing financial and operational leadership while supporting initiatives that strengthen local communities and opportunities for Latino families.

Dr. Amy Brevoort Hale, MD

Physician — VIMCare Clinic, Columbus Regional Health

Amy Hale is a primary care physician at VIMCare Clinic at Columbus Regional Health. Prior to completing her medical studies, she lived and worked overseas as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Dr. Hale has found Su Casa to be a valuable resource for connecting patients with important needs like educational opportunities, housing and legal services.

Dr. Felipe Martinez

Pastor — First Presbyterian Church

The Rev. Dr. Felipe N. Martinez is a Presbyterian pastor, originally from Monterrey, Mexico. He holds degrees from Austin College (Texas) and McCormick Theological Seminary (Illinois). Felipe values spending time investing in the lives of people in the community, working together towards justice and grace. Felipe enjoys photography, running, and singing. He and his wife Tracy have four children and four grandchildren. Their spunky rescue dog keeps them all in line.

Frank Griffin

Corporate Responsibility Program Director — Cummins Inc.

Frank Griffin serves as Corporate Responsibility Program Director at Cummins Inc., helping strengthen partnerships and community-focused initiatives that create opportunities and support for underserved populations.

Karl Kissinger

Chief Growth Officer — Centra Credit Union

Karl possesses more than 30 years of experience in financial services, including 22 years in commercial banking and various roles across private banking, mortgage lending, retail banking, and consumer lending. He is highly engaged in numerous community organizations and non-profits. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Miller College of Business at Ball State University and is a graduate of the Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin, where he completed executive leadership development with honors.

Guadalupe Trujillo serves as Global Quality Leader at Cummins Inc., bringing operational leadership and a commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen Latino families and community development.

Scott Poling

Market President, South Central Indiana — First Financial Bank

Scott Poling serves as Market President for South Central Indiana at First Financial Bank, supporting local economic growth, financial empowerment, and community partnerships throughout the region.

Cindy Frey

President — Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce

Cindy Frey is President of the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce in Columbus, Indiana, where she leads efforts to strengthen the region’s business climate and foster collaboration among employers, civic leaders, and entrepreneurs. Since joining the Chamber in 2013, she has advanced initiatives focused on economic growth, workforce development, and small-business success. Known for building cross-sector partnerships, Frey works to ensure Columbus remains a vibrant place to live, work, and build a business.

Patrick Mahaffey

Principal — Clifty Creek Elementary / BCSC

Patrick Mahaffey is the Principal of Clifty Creek Elementary. Patrick is a former Spanish teacher turned administrator, in his 13th year serving the families of Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation. Patrick works to provide equitable opportunities for all students and connect his students with programs and opportunities to expand their world-view. He is passionate about Dual Language education and the opportunities learning multiple languages can provide a student as they progress through life.

Dr. Jose Martinez

Director of English Learners — Seymour Community Schools

Dr. Jose I Martinez has been an educator for over 19 years. Dr. Martinez has served as a middle and high school teacher, college professor, education researcher, and curriculum scholar. Most recently, he serves as the Director of English Learners at Seymour Community Schools.
